It needs a motor or just bearings and an oil pump, a transmission, and paint/minor rust repair. Story is that I was coming home from work two or three weeks ago with the cruise set and all of a sudden I heard the engine wind up. Turned the radio down, pressed the gas, nothing. Pulled over, popped the hood. Behold! Rod knock too! So it sits now with a higher RPM rod knock and no 3rd or 4th gear in the trans.Before the engine/trans went it was a strong truck. Body is fairly solid. Passenger front fender is rusty, driver rocker is gone. Cab corners are fairly solid. Needs new cab mounts, the metal is good but the bushings are shot. It sits about 1/4-1/2 inch lower than the bed. Bed is off a newer truck. Tailgate hinges are rusted off just like 90% of these still around. All in all it's a project.
