GN owners / fans I have a friend that has a 87 GN that needs a rebuilt, new or their master cylinder rebuilt so they can go to the dream cruise. They have looked everywhere for the part, it isn't available. Any help?

Switch to vacuum brakes. Greatest thing I ever did. The powermaster is a piece of WAY overpriced garbage!

parts are hard to come by for GN brakes. the brake accumulator was selling for $300-$400 a few years ago when i needed one.

vacuum brakes are the ticket

As loosenut say the vacum brake set up works better but as for my I'll either rebuild mine or buy another one if I ever have problems with mine. Only reason for me to do that is to keep the car stock and retain value.

also check out brian weavy @ G-body Parts and the guys down @ poston buick in alabama. I have spent way too much money with all 3 :D

Like everyone else has said, either convert to vacuum, or hydro boost... The powermaster is a flaming pile of garbage. My father in law has a GN w/ under 36k and even it has powermaster issues. It just got a new accumulator ball...
