1985 Zamboni 500 for sale

Has around 8000 hours on it. Gasoline powered. I have not started it yet, but was told that it ran when parked at end of 2014 season. Key will not turn ignition. Seems like it might need a new ignition cylinder. 3k obo. Located in Allen park.

lol seen this in the auction. Though it would be cool but wondered what the hell someone would be able to do with it. Good luck with the sale though.
 
A 91 that looks the same sold for $3500 on ebay but it ran. My advice would be to get it running and list it on ebay. You should be able to get 3k for it.

Yep, going to work on it tomorrow and see where I'm at. I figured I would get it out there as is. The guy at zamboni told me that they are pretty much the same from 1980-late 90s.
 
My wife's cousin Jerry and another guy drove one from to Detroit to Philadelphia about 25 ish years ago when the Wings were vying for the Stanley Cup. Long drive at 25 mph!
 
Id be the neighborhood hero with this thing for pond hockey. :lol:

I was telling my guy here at work the same thing....He builds a rink every year....How cool would it be to roll out on the Zamboni....:lol:
