1st off. I am posting this for a very close friend of mine So contact him.
Trever
This was a great running van. Since i got it i put some work into it but not tons. I just got back from driving it from Holly,MI to Virginia and back. There was no problems with it on the trip!
Heres some details.
1984 GMC Vandura 3500 Box truck
- carbed 350 (claimed to be 4-bolt)/TH400
- Regular passenger van nose/cab with highback buckets.
- Dana 70 dually rear (should be the big-bearing model)
- 4.10 gears
- cannot tell original miles due to inop spedo.
- PS/PB, manual windows & locks
- New alternator & belt, bumped up the amps
-NEEDS new battery.
-as seen is pictures there is body rust
-comes with some other tires for it and replacement seats.(because the drivers seat is in rough shape.)
I had it in the shop and did a rear axle lube change. also greased and lubed everything and changed oil less than 1200 miles ago. Changed tires on the rear and they have been holding for over a month and have decent tread. It has an exhaust leak at right hand manifold still. other than being blown around by the wind this drove fine to and from virginia. It has been amazingly reliable. After i bought it it sat in the winter for over a month and fired right up everytime i tried.Rough inside box measurements are as follows.
13ft 8 inches long,6ft 11inches high, 7ft 6inches wide.
Pm me with any questions.
Going to put at road for $800
