1980 Mongoose motomag 20 inch

this should be a polished frame I spent about 5 minutes cleaning one area came real nice a complete dissassembly and polishing this bike would be sweet I have a 81 super goose to do first

I had that same bike when I was about 11, if you come across a Chrome Hutch, Kuwahara or a Gold Race Inc look me up.

damn, I had a supergoose with the same wheels on it when I was younger, I tossed it in the trash around 1998

I bought a mongoose california last year that had almost all of the original parts including the handle bar & stem pads. I have changed the bars, grips, & seat and polished the frame. Damn thing looks brand new. My son doesn't even know how cool he'll be in a couple of years!

I am thinking about looking for an old school bike for my son as well. He is only 20 months though so I have some time.. Then again I guess I can work on it and try to make it perfect.

keep in mind guys you think cars are $$$$ wait till you start shopping bike parts, I paid 300.00 fora set of NOS pedals for one of my old bilke

When i was a kid, I had a perigrine (sp) falcon stunt bike. All stock until my dad custom painted it. It got stolen. I looked for weeks. Fail.

Supposedly was a rare bike, by dad paid good money for it from his friend,

wish I still had it.

Anyone know of any good deals locally on a restorable 80s old school?

Id like to find a cool one to tool around the neighborhood on this summer
