1979 Ford Fairmont. 408ci motorsport block windsor based SBF. Best of everything in the short block, Dart Pro 1 cylinder heads, custom ground nitrous cam, single plane intake, custom built nitrous dominator by Patrick at pro systems, adjustable plate from 100-500hp, kooks headers, 4" exhaust with dynatech race mufflers, brand new PA c4 trans with a brake, brand new 4" aluminum driveshaft, built 8.8 rear end, tubular front and rear suspension, rear suspension set up by Dave at Team Z, car has a cage in it, but has never been certified, was welded in more for safety, and grudge races. Inside also has two Kirky seats, new belts, B&M pro stick shifter, autometer gauges, car also has a parachute that is removable via the license plate area, so you can put the plate back on for street driving. Everything is fresh and brand new with 3 passes on it. Took the car to November NO ET and first pass off the trailer on 28x10.5s went 10.15 on the motor with a 1.41 sixty, put some small pills in it and went 9.35 the 2nd pass with a 1.3 sixty foot, came back and put some more into it for the 3rd pass (at night as the track was getting cold) and the car spun on the 1-2 shift. With a little tuning the car has a 9.xx on the motor alone, and will easily go into the 8s on the hose..this was the first time the setup has been off the trailer, with no fine tuning. Engine can handle up to a 500 shot. This car has the best of everything in it, with no expenses spared. Just time to go a different direction. I'll get some new pictures shortly, I took these last year with the old combo in it, car is physically pretty much the same except it no longer has a cowl hood, now has a boss 429 scoop (freshly painted to match the car) and no longer has the 3" bullets off the headers, now has a 4" exhaust out to the rear.
