1978 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Custom
Up for sale is a 1978 K5 Blazer, Totally custom frame up restoration. Vehicle has been turned into an off road toy, Paddle tires included. It was built to be a dune racer. Equipped with and iron block 454 and iron rectangle ported bowtie heads, it has a dual quad setup on a tunnel ram intake with a single kit of Nitrous (never been sprayed) we’re not %100 positive on the build but using a bore scope camera everything looks to be done very well. It has a sheet metal body painted red in/out. Paint could use a light wet sand and polish but it looks great. Kirkey vinyl buckets and auto meter gauges accompanied by B&M gear shift and T-case shifter. We are not positive on the Transmission but the pan resembles a Turbo 400.
We have very little information on the complete build due to the builder not being around anymore and the vehicle being taken on trade to a family member of mine. All I can tell you is that it runs great, very loud and lumpy, it drives like a charm. Seems to have about a 3200 rpm stall. Its tuned on Torco 110 but that can be changed with a tune up. keep in mind, this is not mine and I am posting for a family member on my in laws side... this vehicle is not my style but seems that for the right person can be turned into something cool very easily.
Vehicle is located at our families shop in Fraser. Please call Dave @ (586) 790-2886- for pricing
