1978 Chevrolet Camaro - Build your Own Camaro Kit - Super-Complete - $2500

Original price: $3700
Dropped to $2500! Racing cash needed!

I'm selling a Build-Your-Own-Camaro Kit

The car is a 1978 Chevy Camaro with:
-Zero mile rebuilt 350
Fully Machined and Rebuilt Chevy 350. I can pull the numbers off of the block and heads if you like, but I don't have them right now. Engine runs great. Flawless. A couple of things have been disconnected to proceed with the resto, very simple to do.

-BRAND NEW zero mile Holley 670 Double Pumper Carb
As you can see, this carb is straight out of the box. It will flow enough fuel to fulfill even the craziest heads on a 350.

-BRAND NEW zero mile TCI Streetfighter TH350 Automatic Transmission
Again, more new parts. Straight out of the box and into the car. New torque converter.

-BRAND NEW zero mile VMatic Ripper Shifter
Can't have a Camaro without a sweet shifter. Either cruise in automatic or do full-manual shifts.

-More parts than you know what to do with.
Forward to pictures. Be amazed at the collection you get.

Everything is included to make a complete car. If I had to throw a number on it, this package is 130%.
Every nut, bolt, screw, fastener, piece of trim, weathestripping and switch is here.

This car originally came from North Carolina. It then took a trip to Ohio where it got all of the hotrodding done to it. I picked it up last year.

I need to sell this car to finance, in part, my racing for this season. I don't have the time to put this together, but it wouldn't take long!

Obviously the drivetrain is worth more than my asking price, but the total packaged is priced to move. Racing is expensive and my season is about to begin.

Some Details:

The Drivers side fender, grill and rear decklid are all genuine GM reproduction pieces. Brand new.

The hood is a Harwood fiberglass cowl.

Brakes are rebuilt and complete.

The bale of wires next to the driver's side header is the fully-functional headlight and turn signal harness.

The front end is held together temporarily with a couple fasteners. Everything on this car is very straight.

The exhaust is all brand-new true dual with a pair of Flowmasters. The headers do not leak and are structurally solid.

The only rust on the ENTIRE car is the passenger side rocker panel. It's very small and extremely easy to repair. I'm including a BRAND NEW GM rocker panel free.

BOTH SUBFRAMES DIPPED -Both the front and rear subframes were pulled off of the car, stripped/coated and reinstalled. Both of them are flawless.

The center wing piece is not mounted because the holes are not drilled in the new decklid. All of the hardware is included with the collection of wings and wingtips you get.

The trim is in perfect shape with no corrosion.

do you have the stock dash? How do you remove the rear subframe and strip it?

That is the stock dash as far as I know. I have only what you see in the pictures. This collection is every single second generation Camaro part I have in my possession.

The yellow is from the sodium lights. I actually was using a halogen spotlight during the whole deal to try to take some of that out, but the pics still suck.

I was told by the previous owner that both subframes were pulled and dipped.
Maybe he mispoke and refinished the rear one on the car. The rear frame rails look stellar.

Again, I'm reasonably negotiable on the price and all trades are welcome.

Just so you know...The dash is 79-81. The IP is the same but the dash pad, faceplate and look totaly differant.

Thanks man. The previous owner must have put together his own little collection of parts, judging by the front end and the dash. I've got some early taillights to go with the car too, they are in the pictures.
