1974 Larson 17ft (16ft 9in) boat with 85hp chrysler outboard, includes a larson trailer all for SOLD
I owned this boat about 10yrs ago but I sold it to a co-worker.
He used it every year since then. This year he bought a big boat (28ft I think) and this boat has sat since last fall. I got it back from him but I decided I don't have time for it.
I put a battery in it and it fired right up. I haven't take in out yet and the interior is rough. Just some interior cleaning and you should be able to go out on the water. I was "paced" by another boat 10yrs ago at 38mph. The guy I got it back from said it went 40-42mph according to a GPS unit.
Located in Dearborn Heights, in my garage (It fits in my 24'X24' garage no problem) but I think I will be moving it to my parents in Westland.
The blue stuff that looks like tape on the front of the boat is NOT tape. It is just a blue piece of plastic sitting up there. There is no tape covering problems. Also the throttle control was moved off of the interior panel (3 screws hold it on) because I "was" going to sell the motor and controls to a guy for $500 but he backed out. I'll screw it back into place when I get a few min.
