Super clean 73 Chrysler Town & Country wagon. 79,000 miles, runs & drives excellent. Western car, extremely clean. Power windows, power steering, power brakes, AC front and rear, power rear window. Great running 440 & 727 trans. Rebuilt transmission. Many new parts; brake hoses, battery, tires, master cylinder, cap, rotor, plugs and wires, & N.O.S. rear tailgate window motor are the things I've done. The previous owner replaced the rear brakes, belts, hoses, the radiator looks like it's been re-cored with a 3 row core, carb was professionally rebuilt, new KYB shocks, new nice & quiet exhaust.
I just serviced the complete AC system, it blows nice & cold. It has R12 in it. The rear AC unit works as well.
When I got the car, the woodgrain on the sides was pretty faded, so I stripped it off & did the custom metalflake job you see. I also flaked out the roof in a root beer flake. Very cool. I think the paint is mostly original, except for the metalflake parts. There's no evidence of a repaint. I redid the lower part of the car due to stone chips, it looked pretty bad when I got it. There was no rust. I was able to DA it down, fill the chips & shoot it. (I wish it was always that easy)
Interior is in great shape, there's a little fading here & there, but no rips in the seats or headliner, dash is not cracked. The carpet is a little worn in the driver's footwell. This is a nine passenger wagon.
The car also has factory fender skirts, I didn't like the way they looked. They are included with car
There are a few issues that need addressing, the horns don't work, I'm going to order a relay & see if that fixes it. The radio only works on AM, the cruise control doesn't work, and the clock in the dash doesn't work. The washer bottle is cracked, but I have it, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the rear two-way tailgate to work. It only swings out, not down.
Thanks for looking.
