1968 Chevrolet Impala
This is my girls car that she has had since I've known her. Her and her dad fixed it up, just trying to help her sell it. Details that she wrote:
1968 Chevrolet Impala 4-door sedan. Rebuilt 350 chevy motor and rebuilt 2 speed powerglide trans with probably only a few thousand miles on them. Rear air shocks. Holley 650 cfm carb. Flowtech headers. Dual side exhaust. Chrome Crager SS wheels and tires in good condition. Comfy ride, seats are still springy after all these years but could use a little bit of upholstry repair. Could use new carpet, it's sun faded.
Reliable motor, always starts on first or second crank even after sitting for a year! Has a killswitch. Newer battery, air cleaner. Most of the work was done on it in 2001-2002 including everything in the engine compartment. Used to by my daily driver then but now she's just lonely and doesn't get enough attention. It has a radio/cd player and two 6x9s in the back and sounds good! Heat works.
Needs cosmetic TLC and a seal leak on the trans, otherwise it will slowly leak out if it sits too long. I usually just fill it up before the season and check it every once in awhile. Paint job is new, but ameature. Looks good going 40 mph but not too bad at a stand still either. No major body work needed, some surface rust was covered in last paint job but may need addressing soon. One fender is brand new, all the glass is immaculate and original. Have some new weatherstripping in the trunk that never got put on.
Insurance is cheap.
Pricing guides say it's worth $6,210 with the motor but it needs some work so I'm putting it out there for $3,900 or best offer. If you put that extra into it this car will last you the rest of your life.
