Felpro says this is .041 thickness... but only 9.0cc volume.. I'm assuming that the .041 is un-compressed?

summit list it as compressed, also I found a few thread on nmraracing saying they're anywhere from .039 to .041 compressed.

Noticed a bunch of people said there not boost friendly over 10 psi... an to use the stock replacment 9333pt-1 for better results plus it .050 compressed.

+1 just make sure you have good mating surfaces! They also come coated so you do not need to spray them with copper spray.

I am not 100% sure on this either, but have heard from others too....Using them on a late model 302 block is not so good because they use a steel ring and it can tweak the deck surface where it contacts....I am using 1011-2 with the copper ring, boosted, again....
