Well I guess its time to get this party started.....

08 mustang GT 4.6L 5 speed.. made 520hp at the wheels with a turbonetics kit..... "blowed da hell up" on the way to the woodward dream cruise 2010......

Fast foward to now.... time to get this 19,000mile pony working again....

goals: 1000hp to the rear wheels ....street drivin.... want a vintage "A/Fx" look with some modern anemitys the cosmetics will be a little later....

the parts collected so far....

stock block honed slightly oversize for the new CP pistons.

longer stroke K1 crank (5.0L displacement)

Manly H-beams with ARP 2000 rod bolts...

ARP everything for a 3v

heads.... Ferrea valves, PAC springs have to ship them off to Fox lake here soon...

cams: will be custom

intake: Holley sniper

old turbo was a 62mm turbonetics... new one is a GTK-1000 with a wet housing.

wastegate and BOV are Synapse

hot and cold sections custom made By Mizzi.

Ford performance parts oil pump coated and ported...

evans coolant...

The pretty:

Moroso fabricated cam covers, oil pan, coolant tank power steering tank, PNR welding fabricated catch can.... mitsumoto radiator.

the underpinnings: full BMR suspension front and rear

on the "to get" list.

magnum XL Tr6060 wide ratio

Mcleoud twin disc

rocket wheels launcher series front wheels and the gasser style rear wheels in "dull magnesium"

H.O. fibertrends reverse tear drop hood.

that is about all I have for the moment.. will post a few pictures while I can.

I bought the rotating Assembly before the coyote came out and its pretty easy to make the power I want with boost.... so why not? :)

Just need a good mechanic down there.

When you get it together we'll have to race white mustangs. We're planning on putting his 6 litre and that 91.5 on it.

Sounds nuts. I'd stick with that 62mm and spin the snot out of it. It sure is nice looking!!! Cant wait to see it in person!

Thanks Denny... yeah the original thought was to just get another 62mm and spin 2 of them.... but.. Mizzi and I debated that.. he made a good point when he said boost would come on REALLY quick with twins... almost too quick for thestreet.... so he won this one LOL!

What transmission are you guys going to run? I have a stock a5 in mine and it has lasted on 9lbs of vortech for the past couple seasons but I am sure the 3-4 is going to ruin my fun in the foreseeable future. I had the tuner keep the shifts on the soft side on the initial tune and it hasn't had an issue to date. I am on the fence on either a pulley, meth and forged or a trans rebuild and converter.

Dave, I'm old school...I'm going to row my own gears... the plan is a Magnum XL with a McLeod clutch (never had an issue with my street twin in the vette.) but I have heard some folks on the S-197forum have had success swapping in the 6 speed from coyote cars... but have not read up on it since I have decided to stay with a manual.

Turbo should be here tomorrow... willpost pictures then...I'm trying to find a picture of the metco pullys I got last week....

just for documentation here is the old video with the 62mm turbonetics kit. some guys might recognize GbodyGmachine in the video....
