I think the bigger cars had the HD trans pre-'00, like the Park Avenue Ultra and SSEi, not positive on that though.
 
98-02 Trans is the same, 97 and 03 were different.

My old 99 GTP went 12.9@104 on a 3.25, 1.9 rockers, downpipe / exhaust, shift kit, and tune. Still kind of miss that car.
 
Damn .. some fast Gtp's! I'm getting sick of losing to 4.6's :), my afr is around 10.8 right now. We still having some tweaking to do. I kept up with a newer STI through 130 on my way to work, which inspired me to tune this. After my Mustang is done, and my silverado gets a 4l80e + 3200 stall I'll save for a built trans for the gtp.
 
I had a 99 gtp, ported supercharger, 2.8 pulley, headers, exhaust, north star throttle body. Custom tune. On the scan gauge it made 400. Do yourself a favor, get the biggest trans cooler you can find and get a aeroforce scan gauge.
 
Sorry I do not have much to update on this. With a downpipe, and a tune this has gone 14.3 @ 97mph with a 2.0 60ft.
