My gf has an 04 gtp and when she turns the car on the service traction comes on, service abs, service stability control, service brake system.

Problem 2. When the ac or heat is on sometimes the blower shuts off then when u hit a bump. Then if u hit another one it will turn back on.

Problem 3. When turning their is a clanking noise

Problem 4. When car is shifting into 3rd gear it won't shift unless u let off the gas. She had the trans rebuilt but its still not shifting right. I'm not sure if this anything todo with the first problems.

the fan turning on and off is probably a loose wire and the clunking when turning might be the struts thats what happened to my grand am

WHEEL SPEED SENSOR OR HUBS

BLOWER MOTOR IS GOING OR THE REGULATOR FOR IT

INTERMIDIATE STEERING SHAFT

I am not a mechanic and have limited experience, but those are the same symptoms my wifes 05 had and what i had to get fixed.

problem three, jack up the car and inspect the CV joints/axles. give tie rods a tug (shouldnt move any) check the ball joints by eye and also give them a tug there should be minimal movement

First problem is you need a new hub, finding out which one to replace you need to take it somewhere to have them scan the car.

I had the same exact thing on my '04 grand prix.

Reiko can get you the hub for cheap.

the blower acts up at all speeds.

the hub i read somewhere to check with an ohm meter i got like 1200 to 1300 on all of them.

You
ll need to get the code checked to see which sensor has an issue. Ohming them doesn't always work.

I know on my older GP's there is a circuit board for the blower, maybe it has an issue.

The older GP's had issues with the pressure control solenoid, I don't know f the newer 4T65's have the same issue.

1 bad abs ring or sensor, as mentioned have a shop scan and tell you what wheel is throwing a code, very common, ohm readings don't always show it.
2 likely a connection issue or bad blower motor, I have done blower motors on them before because of this and due to water leaking into them from weatherstrips falling off at the base of the windsh. where the cabin filter is.
3 you need to be more specific, they are well known to need sway bar links, front and rear but should be noticeable when hitting bumps.
4 I'd go back to whover rebuilt the trans, they should be able to tell you what's wrong if they did it recently.

Ponyryd, we had the water in cabin issue and i fixed that. there was water on everything. would u guess its the blower motor then?

Yes, most likely it is the blower motor, check the harness as well, it may be corroded. When you say you fixed it, did you buy a new rubber or just silicone the old one on? The blower is easy to check, turn it on and give it a whack with your hand-goes off it's facked.

i siliconed the old one back on. but when it does go off now, if i smack it, it will turn on. so should i buy a new motor?

Yes, but check the connector first, you may need a connector and motor, but likely just the motor, they are available aftermarket.
