I know a couple people that have around 400,000 miles on them. If that is typical durability I don't expect many have been replaced yet.

Usually any failures are related to a cat converter that's gone ignored for too long.

Auto trans...138k oil was neglected...mint body...picked it up for $300....how horrible is it to swap out

They're relatively easy to be honest. You can yank it out of the top or bottom. Even the awd isn't all that bad.
