I have seen a few for sale out here in AZ and thinking on picking one or two up to resale, maybe even ship back to michigan. Are these any good, don't really know anything about them or the powertrain thats in them. Any issues to look out for.

found a nice 02 with 120k miles for around $6000

04 with 70k for around $9000

its a Lincoln LS with 2 doors, same chassis as the 05 and newer mustang

122 pin black oak processor

it takes 2 modules to beep the horn

i spent 2 years working on them before launch,.
they are vastly underpowered but nice cars for long drives

The lincoln LS had a terrible hyd fan setup that would use a 2nd power steering pump that always went bad.

The Lincoln LS also had a terrible electrical system.

Nothing but problems

Awesome idea....... piss poor execution

Just trying to look for different cars to buy out here and sell back in Michigan and maybe make a few bucks

Funny. Just talked to my dad in Livonia today and the neighbor is selling his 02 2wd crew with like 35k miles. Didn't get a price yet

although im a sucker for 2wd trucks, and those look killer dumped into the weeds

price?

Any clean, rust-free Ford pickup '97 or older will sell here. Any year Bronco, (EXCEPT Bronco II!!) And it seems like ANYTHING older than mid '70's with shiny paint, decent chrome, and a set of wheels & tires commands premium prices!

02-05 t-birds are also pig heavy @3800lbs.. the 3.9L modular is unique to only them.... I spent several years at the wixom plant as a quality rep for the Budd co. I owned the T-bird doors, hood, decklid, fenders, and GOR. everything except the doors was SMC (corvette fiberglass) and we had ALOT of trouble with them... every thing from low conductivity on the part (paint problems) to outgassing of water trapped in the smc that created "pops" that would break thru (especially on the fenders near the A-pillars we also had alot of issues with the glue dots on the hood.... they always created low spots between the hood scoop and the front of the hood.... but re-wire the thing and put in a decent mod motor, repaint it..... and I think it would be a fun car... Ha Ha!!!
