Are there any places to go canoeing in the SE area of the state? Or NW Ohio? I need a place where they don't mind 30 people being loud and drinking at the campsite and on the river. My friends from school get together on the Rifle River every year but it's a freakin' haul to get up there.

I'm an Ohio resident. I'm looking at a Jeep in Michigan tomorrow. If I end up buying it and their BMV is closed for the weekend, how do I get it home without temp tags? Can I drive it without plates if I have the signed title with me? Should I ask the old owner to leave his plates on it for me?
