This is an old thread now but I'm redoing the inside of a small 2-car "shop" and the best thing I've done for saving space so far is building the bench at a tall enough height that my toolbox, welder, trash can, etc all roll directly underneath. And its a comfortable working height for me being...

Took a gamble on a 96 firebird that needed a fuel pump and darko hooked me up today. +1 to you sir. And on that note... I was unfortunately able to determine that the car needed more than a fuel pump. if anyone is interested in a 96 firebird with bad headgaskets or parts from it, get at me :lol:

hey guys my 04 Colorado has a nasty squeal coming from the rear axle. Its very loud and goes away if i brake-torque it hard enough so obviously i suspected the rear brake drums first. I just replaced the original rear brake pads yesterday (113k on the truck) and readjusted them appropriately...

just picked this up last weekend. going to be building a road race engine for my car out of it. Its a 96 4-bolt main and a spun rod bearing. I just finished tearing it down yesterday. Bearing was spun BAD! nothing left of the number 8 bearing at all...crank is toast. I'll get some more...
